Another quality Lodge product. I have used cast iron cookware from Lodge for years. I have wanted the Sportsman's Grill for sometime now. I found the item on KTOM with the best price. I did have to wait awhile for delivery due to demand for the grill. I use the grill 3-4 times a week with great results. Clean with water and a metal scouring pad spray with Olive oil. I also carry the grill on camping, and hunting trips.

Great product. Love to use charcoal but heating up the Weber grill is a bit much for two steaks. This is perfect...and the heat is excellent with the cast iron grill grate.....very pleased with this.

We often take the Hibachi with us on outdoor, and picnic events. You never know when an extra heat source, or a quick warm up is needed. The grill takes up little space, is easy to clean, and great for those unplanned events.

Great for use on outside table but you need an insulator
underneath because the legs get very hot.
I shaped a piece of hardwood to fit the oval of the BBQ.

We grill at home 3-5 times a week, year round. I had a big smoker that was just too much for grilling a couple of sausages or burgers. My father had a grill very similar to the Lodge Logic Sportsman's Grill back in the 60s. This one appears to be every bit as solid and practical as that one from my youth. I only wish Lodge would dispense with their logo right in the middle of the grilling grate which annoyingly interferes with the cooking process- a minor point. Highly recommended.

This is the best grill I've ever used (have had dozens of charcoal and gas grills over the years). Surprisingly large grill surface. Didn't realize it until had a lot of food and thought it would require two batches. Was able to do all at once.
I am using cooking spray on all surfaces before each use to build up the seasoning. It's looking better after every meal.

I use it for personal reasons ,I like the cast iron construction ,easy to use no clean up most of the residual on the grill grate burns off the next time you use it.

This Lodge Hibachi,manufactured in the good old USA, has no toxic components
that you might find if it were manufactured outside the USA. That was my highest concern and that's why I bought the Lodge Hibachi.

I am a professional chef, but chose this for my husband for home everyday. It works beautifully, is elevated from the coals at the right height, uses half the charcoal of a conventional bbq, and best of all is made in TN.

We tried to use a small good quality gas grill before this one and it just didn't cook food the same way as over charcoal. Not as tasty. Also, cleaning the gas grill was much more difficult as fat seemed to burn on it everywhere and it took a lot of scrubbing to get it off (I'm compulsive). I also did not like having to deal with the empty gas cartridges (small ones) as I had to find a place to recycle them and that made for an extra little errand in the car (more gas). Although it takes a little more time to get a fire going on the hibachi, it is worth the extra wait. It is a little on the heavy side but not impossible to deal with.

This is a great grill for four or less people. We use half the charcoal we were using with our Weber grill. This is a solid well built grill that will last along time. The day I got the grill I cooked a london broil and it was terrific. I highly recomend this grill for anyone who enjoys the great grill taste of foods cooked on a hibachi grill. You will not be disapointed with this grill. Buy it!

wonderful little grill. It's heaavy but that appears to be the only downside. wish it had handles that wouldn't allow the hibachi to tip over!...fun for Korean BBQ

Use it anytime I get a chance. It is always grilling something. Starts easy, almost no flare ups, cleans easy.
Do need a new one after 10 years of over use but i will buy it over and over

We use a cast iron roaster & cast iron griddle on it. Put in some charcoal, then add small dry twigs or dried tree bark to the desired level of heat needed; works great to deep-fry brook trout in the roaster. Fry eggs, bacon, pancakes, potatoes, meat or any other assortment of goodies on the cast iron griddle. We couldn't be happier with the grill, and wouldn't trade it for any other.

Camping and grilling on the deck. I made a wind break for this it greatly improved te grill. but less portable. I like this grill a lot and its a coal saver for shure'
