These gloves appear to be made of nitrile rubber. As such they are useful in general to wash pots and pans under moderately hot water. However, although I haven't measured the temperature, they weren't resistant enough for the hot temperature water I experienced at Citigroup in the wash sink. The water was too hot. Moreover these gloves cannot be used to hold hot pots and pans. You need a thicker glove designed for this purpose. However they are useful to protect your hands from excessive washing of pots and pans against dryness and cracking. I would recommend them at home or at work if the temperature is not too high.
